Guest Guide
Everything you need to know before you arrive.
Attending a Session
-
Garden of Peace Sessions are intimate outdoor live music performances held in a private garden and professionally filmed as part of an ongoing concert series. Each gathering invites a small audience to slow down, listen deeply, and experience music in the company of nature and one another.
-
Sessions are intentionally intimate, with approximately 50 guests in attendance. This smaller audience creates a relaxed atmosphere where everyone feels connected to both the music and the surrounding garden.
-
Yes. Seating is provided for all guests. Depending on the event, it may include a combination of chairs and other informal garden seating.
-
We've worked to make Garden of Peace Sessions as welcoming and accessible as possible. The main pathways and gathering areas are wheelchair accessible, and an accessible portable restroom will be available on site.
Because this is a natural garden, some areas include uneven terrain, steps, or narrow paths that may not be fully accessible. If you have questions about accessibility or would like to discuss specific accommodations before your visit, please reach out—we're happy to help you plan your experience.
-
Most performances last around an hour. Rather than an all-night concert, Garden of Peace Sessions are designed to be intimate, listening-forward experiences that leave space to arrive, settle in, and simply be present.
-
Your evening begins before you reach the garden. All guest parking is located off-site, where complimentary shuttle service brings you directly to the entrance. Detailed parking and shuttle instructions will be included with your ticket confirmation.
Using the designated parking area and shuttle service helps ensure everyone's safety, minimizes neighborhood traffic, and allows us to be thoughtful stewards of the community that surrounds the garden.
-
Garden of Peace Sessions take place outdoors in a natural garden setting. We recommend dressing comfortably for the weather and wearing footwear suitable for garden paths and uneven terrain.
-
To help provide a comfortable experience for all guests, performers, and wildlife, pets are not permitted during Garden of Peace Sessions. Service animals are always welcome.
-
Yes. Every Garden of Peace Session takes place outdoors in a private garden in Gig Harbor, Washington, surrounded by trees, seasonal blooms, and the natural rhythms of the Pacific Northwest.
Because each session is held outdoors, we recommend dressing for the weather and wearing comfortable footwear suitable for garden paths. In the event of severe weather, attendees will be notified of any changes as soon as possible.
The Experience
-
From the moment you arrive, we hope you'll feel invited to slow down. After taking the shuttle into the garden, you'll have time to explore the grounds, find a place to sit, and settle in before the performance begins.
Garden of Peace Sessions are intentionally unhurried. We encourage guests to wander the paths, connect with others, and simply enjoy being present before, during, and after the music.
-
Filming is an important part of Garden of Peace Sessions, helping us share each performance with those who can't be there in person. Guests may occasionally appear in wide audience or atmosphere shots.
Our focus is always on the performers and the shared experience, not on individual audience members. By attending a Garden of Peace Session, you acknowledge that photography and video recording may take place and that your likeness may be captured as part of the event.
-
Garden of Peace Sessions are intentional gatherings where music, nature, and community come together. They offer something different from a traditional concert experience.
Rather than large crowds and constant activity, each session is designed to encourage presence, deep listening, and meaningful connection in a peaceful garden setting.
-
Guests of all ages are welcome.
Garden of Peace Sessions are designed to be peaceful, listening-forward experiences, so we simply ask that all guests—young and old—help preserve the atmosphere for everyone attending.
-

Because every Garden of Peace Session takes place outdoors, weather is always a consideration. While we hope for beautiful evenings, guest safety and the quality of the experience always come first.
If weather requires a change in plans, we'll notify all ticket holders as soon as possible with updated information and available options.
-
